VCO Series UPS (1000 – 3000 VA)

GE’s new VCO Series uninterruptible power supply (UPS) provides critical applications, such as telecom networks, voice/data networks, PCs and servers, with highly reliable power protection in a small, modern design. It offers users a true voltage and frequency independent (VFI), double-conversion technology UPS designed to ensure a continuous delivery of clean, conditioned power. Available from 1-3 kilovolt-amps at 230 volts in a compact 2-rack unit height, the VCO Series provides protection to an IT rack without taking away rack space from other IT equipment. Its high-efficiency eco-mode offers an operating efficiency of more than 95 percent, reducing energy and cooling costs.

Featuring easily swappable batteries, a VCO Series UPS user can quickly exchange its batteries while the load is still connected, effectively eliminating downtime. The UPS offers a 0.8 power factor on the output for more actual power to support the attached load and incorporates an LCD display to show key operating parameters. In addition, the VCO Series UPS is available with an array of communication options including USB, RS232 and SNMP. Included with every VCO Series UPS is GE’s automatic shutdown software.
