The new generation of 4 mm videoscopes for first-rate inspections
VIDEOSCOPE Model 81281 X XX/ 81 288X XX
Videoscopes – Endoscopy with highest image quality
TECHNO PACK® T LED – The Latest Generation of the TECHNO PACK® Product Range
Videoscopes are flexible endoscopes with a video chip at the distal end.
Thanks to cutting-edge CCD technology in conjunction with the excellent KARL STORZ lens systems, KARL STORZ videoscopes produce crystal clear, true-color images.
Videoscopes with integrated measuring systems are also available. The MULTIPOINT 3.0 measuring system is easy to use and offers high measurement accuracy even in case of severe vibration. The examined site is marked and can immediately be exactly measured. The resulting measurement image is then also available for additional measurements, such as depth, distance, or area measurements. In addition, the measurement images can be edited at any time, for instance by inserting text, applying color marks, etc.
Outer tungsten braiding ensures maximum sheath flexibility as well as the stability required in industrial use. A kink protector prevents damage to the videoscope. Some videoscopes feature an additional working channel for introducing tools for magnetic or conventional grasping. Our videoscopes come in lengths of 1 m to 7.5 m and in diameters of 3.8 mm to 8 mm. You can also special order other designs.
Borescopes
Borescopes – Endoscopy with highest image quality
Borescopes can be rigid or semirigid. A rigid borescope is an endoscope that uses a lens system for image transmission.
A semirigid borescope is an endoscope with a rigid sheath that uses a bundle of optical fibers for image transmission.
Rigid borescopes are particularly robust and designed for heavy-duty industrial use. With the HOPKINS® rod lens system, they reliably deliver exceptionally clear, sharp, and bright images. Using a control handle, the direction of view can be infinitely adjusted between 0° and 140°. The sheath can be rotated by 400°. The result is the largest field of view available on the market.
Borescope diameters are between 1.6 mm and 10 mm in lens system models and between 1 mm and 1.6 mm in image guide models. For special applications, instruments with working lengths of up to 1.5 m are available.
Flexoscopes – Fiberscopes
In flexoscopes the image is transmitted from the distal to the proximal end through an optical fiber bundle.
As their name suggests, flexoscopes are extremely flexible. They enable access to convoluted and irregularly shaped spaces, channels, or pipes that would otherwise be invisible to the human eye, and they are easy to use.
KARL STORZ flexoscopes come in diameters between 0.5 mm and 9 mm and feature a robust, smooth outer shell made of plastic or a metal-tungsten braiding. Two-way or four-way deflection translates into a large field of view and ensures ease of use and efficiency when used in combination with a kink protector and an integrated lock. When combined with a powerful external light source, our high quality optical system offers you an outstanding, sharp image that allows you to reliably assess the object to be inspected.
Light sources
Battery-operated LED light source/ Model 81301031
A light source is a separate cold light projector that generates light using powerful lamps; the light then exits at the sheath and illuminates the cavity to be inspected. Lamps include LED, halogen, XENON, Solarc®, and incandescent lamps.
In 1960, Dr. Karl Storz invented the cold light source. Since that time, light has been generated outside of the endoscope and transmitted to the tip through high quality fiber-optic light guides to minimize the heat generated at the endoscope.
The suitability of a light source depends on the type of endoscope used. Therefore, we offer various light sources at different power levels as well as portable, battery-operated cold light projectors. A range of power levels are available, from 5W LED to 300W Xenon high performance light sources. Bright light is a key determinant of image quality. Our powerful, high quality light sources are therefore a decisive factor in generating informative endoscopic images.
Cameras and documentation systems
