GE’s ERW-ON is an ultrasonic inspection system designed to assess the quality of the pipe weld seam upon exit of the welder. This system provides valuable information to help ensure the welding process is in control. The ERW-ON system is available with an optional SCARF monitoring feature to allow the operator to visually confirm that the internal SCARF tooling is functioning properly.
