GE’s Panametrics DigitalFlow™ CTF878 brings clamp-on ultrasonic gas flow metering above atmospheric pressure applications at velocities up to 150 ft/s (46m/s). It uses the correlation tag ultrasonic flow measurement technique to measure accurately and reliably the flow of natural gas, compressed air, inert gas or any other gases. It is especially useful for metering of erosive, corrosive, toxic, high-purity or sterile gases, or in any application where penetrating the pipe wall is undesirable.
• Noninvasive clamp-on transducers (no tapping or cutting of pipe wall reducing installation costs)
• No pressure drop
• Temperatures up to 130 degrees C
• Velocity, volumetric, totalized actual and standard flow
• 6- to 30-inch pipe size capability
• Simple installation
• No maintenance
• No wetted or moving parts
