Agfa HealthCare’s DX-M CR solution’s needle-based technology delivers the high image quality demanded for mammography studies. Its mammography-dedicated needle-based detector is compatible with existing mammography modalities, allowing continued usage of your existing mammography X-ray systems. Your facility can move smoothly from having analog to digital mammography capabilities, without additional costly expenditure.
Supports both needle-based detectors and standard phosphor plates
The DX-M supports both needle-based detectors and standard phosphor plates. These needle-based detectors with their higher Detective Quantum Efficiency [DQE] offer a high resolution image quality.

With a five cassette input and five cassette output drop-and-go buffer, DX-M eliminates waiting time for technologists and allows continuous workflow. Automatic cassette handling and the ability to switch easily between studies makes the DX-M highly productive and user friendly. The fast preview facility on the examination window of the NX workstation starts shortly after a cassette is dropped into the buffer and allows correct positioning and exposure to be determined even while the final image is being uploaded.

The small footprint allows it to be placed easily in an X-ray control room.
